The Baltimore Gaelic Athletic Association held their annual end of year and sports award banquet at the James Joyce Irish Pub and Restaurant on February 11, 2017. There was certainly a great deal to celebrate with the club completing a sweep of the Mid-Atlantic Championships with the men’s and ladies football, hurling and camogie teams all winning their respective cups. The season culminated in a trip to Seattle for the USGAA National Finals, the highlight of which was a national championship for the Lady Bohs camogie team. The men’s football and hurling teams also made a great showing in the championships, playing outstanding games but coming up just short in the end.

The following awards were presented for the 2016 season:

Ladies Football:

Most Improved Player – Karen Yeoman

Player of the Year – Kristen McCaffrey

Men’s Football:

Most Improved Player – Pat Graham

Player of the Year – Gavin Blower

Player of the Year – James Clerkin
